Casa de la Nueva Vida
||10,000 Sq Ft

Designed by Nisha Jackson & Michael Woods

The House on the Hills is a California-style modern home located on 2.14 acres with full views of the stunning hills of the Rogue Valley, Oregon. The mass of neutral white stucco, wood soffits all trimmed with black elements let this home's thoughtful
layout be both visually and functionally organized using strong planes. The front facade maintains its privacy while providing breathtaking pastoral views of the Siskiyou Mountain range and a thoughtful glimpse into the dining, gallery, office,
and living areas within. A contrasting horizontal plane highlights the entryway. Visitors are welcomed inside with high transparency, warm wood accents, and modern landscaping. Upon entry, a strong sense of the home's surroundings are
achieved through direct visual connection to the outdoors. Spacious living, dining, and kitchen areas are gathered using a vertical fireplace element. Custom designed 15-foot height wall windows in each room on the main floor provide views as far as
the Southeast to the North mountain ranges and city lights while also providing separation between rooms.
Since you spend at least one-third of your life sleeping, designers Jackson/Woods decided to give this suite some extra love. Created as an anytime mini-get-a-way, the massive floor to ceiling windows wrapping around the 16’ span velvet headboard, allows the marrying of the outside world with the inside space.

The master bath boosts equally beautiful views with a free-standing tub for two, double walk-in shower and vanity areas surrounded with counter to ceiling mirrors. Meticulous tiled layout is used to maximize
visual appeal with color, texture & shape. All bathroom floors are heated and programmable.

The intricate use of multiple stones create a sense of awe just walking into
this space. Two private bidet toilet rooms and two massive closets create the privacy, sense of comfort, and personal touch desired.

Southen Oregon AVA

The under ground wine cellar and tasting room was designed with Jackson’s history of founding and running a vineyard/winery and knowing the pleasure of cellar tasting and pairing settings.
